The opening also follows the chain’s recent announcement of their revamped app and breakfast burrito.

The store will offer their first 100 bowls for free and offer $10 bowls until June 24.

The milestone arrives nearly 40 years to the day the chain opened its first store in the state.

The brand confirmed growth within Melbourne and teased “taking the Huxtaburger brand experience to new states and [t]erritories.”

Employees will still be paid until the transaction closes.

To celebrate the opening, the chain offered $5 burritos and bowls, free coffee, along with a live mariachi band.

The company currently operates with six restaurants across Melbourne.

The chain recently opened its 197th local restaurant, located in Burpengary.

The latest opening will be followed by three additional drive-thru restaurants set to open before the end of their financial year.

The state-wide launch is part of the business’ plan to roll out the beverage brand across all 450-plus locations by June.

The store also includes a brand new cold drinks menu that features a shake made with cake.

The Impossibly Grill’d restaurants had a menu that featured 23 plant-based burgers.

This is the second Australian outlet for the chain, which has over 240 outlets across markets.
