Grill’d opens first drive-thru

The drive-thru features a new POS software that enables live ordering.

Aussie burger brand Grill’d is opening its first-ever drive-thru restaurant in the suburb of Mt Ommaney, Brisbane.

“Grill’d drive-thru is a quick way to get your burger fix, but it’s not fast food. From the opening of Grill’d Hawthorn in 2004 we have had an unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and challenging the status quo which has resulted in the Grill’d we know today. However, our guests have been telling us they’re craving healthy choices in the convenience space. It was key for us to be able to offer our entire incredible menu and that memorable Grill’d experience the way our guests want it - in drive-thru. It’s fresh food, made to move. We’re not cutting corners – there’s still over 40 amazing menu options, handmade with love by our team,” Grill’d founder Simon Crowe said.

To celebrate the grand opening and Grill’d first, on Saturday, July 15, the Mt Ommaney restaurant is throwing a party – and every Grill’d guest is invited! Grill’d guests can nab a $5 burger deal all day.
