Domino’s Pizza H1 profit falls by 28.3%

Rising prices because of inflation have affected consumer spending.

Australia’s Domino’s Pizza Enterprise reported a fall of 28.3% in profits for the first half of the financial year as a rise in prices due to inflation affect consumer spending.

For the period ended 1 January, first-half profits fell to $68.9m. Shares also dropped by 24.3% to post a record drop.
